About CAST-TX

History

The Chinese Texas Association for Science and Technology (CAST-TX), founded in 1999 in Dallas, Texas, is a local branch of the Chinese Association for Science and Technology (CAST) which is headquartered in the New York City. After continuous efforts, CAST-TX now has nearly 200 members spread over its divisions in Dallas, Austin, Houston and San Antonio.

Purpose

- To promote academic exchange and professional development of CAST-TX members.
- To function as a bridge for the collaboration between China and United States in science and technology, trade, and other areas.
- To promote friendship and communication among CAST-TX members to support the outstanding traditions of the Chinese community.

Activities

- To organize academic meeting and seminars in various professional fields in Texas.
- To establish relationship and collaboration with Chinese organizations and organize exchange programs between China and the United States.
- To organize activities to enhance interaction among its members as well as other Chinese organizations.
